"A well appreciated move for the deprived classes": BCIC, 13th May 2020

The Economic Package presented today by the Hon'ble Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman addressing issues faced by the migrant labourers, street vendors and low income groups is a well appreciated move.

The proposal of extending wheat, rice and grains to migrant labourers and the one nation one card scheme will be more beneficial to the migrant labourers and also help in growth of technology industries.

The Government's scheme to issue loans to street vendors to buy raw materials to start their businesses will cater to their needs.

The Government's proposal to construct houses for migrant labourers in urban areas is certainly a good initiative as it would surely boost the demand for steel, cement and construction materials.

Thus, this package caters to the needs of deprived classes, low income groups and migrant labourers.

BCIC welcomes this move.
